British Downhill Series rnd 5 Caersws
Just back from the last round of the British National series at Caersws. I haven’t been doing the british series this year because of doing the european races, but I decided I wanted to do this one last minute and I luckily managed to get a lift down with the Craig and Ali Shaw from Boat of Garten,(cheers guys).

SDA Round 5 Fort William

Ronan 2nd Fastest Junior in Pila
Ronan Last Jump Pila
I headed to Pila, Italy last Wednesday for the penultimate round of the IXS Cup series. After arriving in nearby town Aosta that night, me and dad explored the area in the car which ended up with us up the road near Pila way above the town of Aosta. Luckily this meant that I got to do a 20 minute long dh ride at 8 o’clock at night as there is a wicked dh track from Pila to Aosta which is (more…)

Highline Racing Podium Double at Ae Forest
The 4th round of Scottish Downhill Series was definitely a successful one for Highline Racing. James smashed it in his second run to claim 3rd in Senior on track where i’m sure his strong pedalling power would have helped him. Ronan also went faster in his 2nd run to grab 3rd place in Junior which he was happy with as he didn’t have any crashes all weekend and said, “It felt good to podium on a track where I haven’t been top 3 before”. It was an awesome weekend of racing as the times were extremely close. To do well you had to have very few mistakes and try hard the whole way down the course. (more…)
